The Time Has Come

Three years ago, on these days, after cutting off the Internet, the Islamic regime turned the mass protests of the Iranian people against oppression into a scene of a great massacre.

We invite all people to join us throughout this event and shape the human chain:

📍 at Dr. Wilbert Mcintyre Park.

Similar to the last event, we will have a canvas for you to sign, music, and chant. From there we will walk towards Whyte Avenue to form a human chain.

Freedom Rally for Iran

Dear Edmontonians,

On Saturday, in unity and support of the Berlin Rally, we once again come together to express our frustrations with the Islamic Republic and our sympathy for the courageous Iranian people fighting for their fundamental rights.

At 2:30 PM, we’ll meet at Edmonton City Hall. We welcome you everyone to add your messages to the canvas that our volunteers have prepared. We’ll also assemble a human chain at City Hall with pictures of the victims this bloodthirsty government has murdered.

At 3:30 PM, we will begin marching down Jasper Avenue in the direction of the Alberta Legislature building. To minimize the disruption for vehicles, kindly follow the lead of our volunteers and stick to one single lane.
At 4 PM, once we arrive at the Legislature Building, we will hear from our local politicians, and we will hear from the Iranian Heritage Society of Edmonton, the Iranian Students Association of the University of Alberta and PS752 Justice.

Join us to raise voices for the voiceless Iranian men and women who are being silenced by this dictatorship.

Please make sure to dress warm and comfortable.
